KOSSS offers support services to First Nations students who leave their home communities to pursue secondary school education. Support staff and student counsellors are located in Thunder Bay and Sioux Lookout. KOSSS works with partners to provide students with a safe and successful learning experience. Core services include administering boarding homes, on-call student transportation and tuition agreements. KOSSS also coordinates programs to support student success and keeping a strong connection between students, their families and culture through video conference family visits, cultural and recreational programs and tutoring.

KOSSS - Casual On-Call Worker Required

On-Call Worker (Thunder Bay) Keewaytinook Okimakanak Secondary Student Services is looking to fill one full-time position, On-Call worker for the school year (August 22, 2016 to May 2017). This casual position will be located in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The students are from our First Nation communities of Fort Severn, Keewaywin, Deer Lake, North Spirit Lake, Poplar Hill, and McDowell Lake.
