Keewaytinook Internet High School (KiHS) has been delivering accredited high school courses for over 10 years through our online education platform with certified teachers in each of the 13 First Nation classrooms. The vision of the chiefs was to provide an opportunity for high school students to stay connected to their families, culture and the land by completing courses with the same quality of education as urban schools.
Students receive their curriculum online and complete courses with the mentorship and support of their qualified classroom teacher. In order to provide cultural learning, traditional teachings are infused into ministry approved curriculum including learning on the land with Elders and flexibility for students to practice their traditional activities.
